Zack Rosen scored 17 points and Pennsylvania beat Columbia 64-54 on Friday night to snap a three-game losing streak in the series.

Penn won its third game in a row despite shooting less than 50 percent from the field for the first time in five games. The Quakers made only 38.6 percent (22 of 57) against the Lions.

The Quakers never trailed and broke open the game with an 11-2 run early in the second half that gave them a 34-22 lead with 15:28 to play. Penn led by at least six points the rest of the way.

Miles Cartwright, who made 9 of 10 free throw attempts, added 13 points and Tyler Bernardini had 11 for the Quakers (12-12, 6-4 Ivy League), who split the season series with Columbia.

Noruwa Agho scored 20 points, Brian Barbour added 19 and Asenso Ampim had 10 for the Lions (14-11, 5-6), who lost their second straight game.
