Oral Roberts 71, IPFW 68

Kyron Stokes scored the go-ahead basket with 37 seconds left in overtime Thursday night as Oral Roberts edged IPFW 71-68.
Stokes' basket broke a 67-67 tie. Ben Botts pulled IPFW within one by making a free throw, but Dominique Morrison answered with two free throws for Oral Roberts. Botts then missed a 3-pointer in the final seconds.
Warren Niles scored 21 points to lead the Golden Eagles (14-10, 9-3 Summit League), who ran their conference winning streak to five games. Morrison added 15.
Deilvez Yearby had 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Mastodons (11-11, 6-6), whose three-game winning streak ended. Trey McCorkle added 14 points, Botts 12, Zach Plackemeier 11 and Nick Daniels 10 for IPFW.
Stokes' tip-in with 42 seconds left forced overtime at 61-61 after Oral Roberts fought back from a 45-30 deficit with 13:58 left in regulation.
