Oklahoma State coach Travis Ford has suspended point guard Ray Penn indefinitely for failing to follow team policy.
Ford said Thursday that Penn ''has some things he needs to work on outside of basketball, and this will give him time to focus and spend some quality time in the academic center.''
Penn started 10 straight games for the Cowboys in December and January but then was dropped from the starting lineup and has seen his playing time diminish in recent weeks. He's averaging 6.1 points and 2.1 assists.
The Cowboys' next game is at home Saturday against Texas Tech.
