Ohio Valley Conference to hold tourneys at Nashville through 2017

The Ohio Valley Conference will play its men's and women's basketball tournaments at Municipal Auditorium in Nashville through March 2017.

The league announced the deal Thursday. The 2015 tournaments will be held at Municipal from March 4-7.

Commissioner Beth DeBauche said in a statement the OVC is pleased to continue its relationship with Municipal and Nashville thanks to improvements at the arena.

The OVC has held both tournaments at Municipal nine times, including the past four years. The league also held its men's tournament at Municipal in 1967 and 1969, and the tournaments have been in Nashville 20 of the past 21 years.
