Will Pratt scored 21 points off the bench and Northwestern State defeated Tennessee-Martin 103-94 on Saturday.
Devon Baker added 19 points for the Demons (2-2) and Logan McConathy scored 18, including back-to-back 3-pointers during an 10-2 run at the end of the first half that gave Northwestern State a 48-39 lead.
Pratt, who came into the game averaging 23 points, scored 14 of his points in the second half, eight of them coming in a span of 3:31 after the Skyhawks (2-2) had closed their deficit to 66-62. Northwestern State went on to lead by as many as 16 points.
Freshman Troy King had 22 points to lead Tennessee-Martin after scoring a total of eight points in the Skyhawks' first three games, and Reuben Clayton added 19.
King scored 19 of his points in the first half, including four 3-pointers.
