Jonathan Lee scored 22 points, Chaisson Allen added 18 and Northeastern rallied to beat Texas State 86-78 on Friday at the Cancun Governor's Cup.
Ryan Pierson had 17 points and Joel Smith finished with 16 for the Huskies (4-6), who trailed 48-34 at halftime. Lee also had five rebounds.
Jonathan Sloan led Texas State (3-9) with 14 points, going 6 for 6 from the field and 2 for 2 at the line. Ryan White had 13 points and Travis Jones, J.B. Conley and Matt Staff each scored 11.
The Bobcats shot 63 percent (27 for 43), including 8 for 15 from 3-point range. But Northeastern shot 58 percent (28 for 48) and went 25 for 34 at the foul line, compared to 16 for 23 for Texas State.
The Huskies lost six straight games before closing their trip to Cancun with consecutive victories over East Tennessee State and Texas State.
