North Florida beats Lipscomb 93-78

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Dallas Moore led four in double figures with 21 and North Florida beat Lipscomb 93-78 on Thursday.

Lipscomb broke an 8-all tie early with a 10-0 run, including a 3-pointer by Nathan Moran. The lead reached 14, but North Florida ended the half on a 15-3 run - including seven consecutive free throws - and trailed by just two, 44-42, at the break.

Beau Beech drilled back-to-back 3-pointers for the Ospreys, starting a 13-0 run as North Florida built a 67-59 lead with 12:54 to go. Asa Duval made a layup next time down for Lipscomb, but that's as close as they got the rest of the way, as Trent Mackey hit consecutive 3-pointers to push the lead to 82-65 with 7:25 to go.

Chris Davenport had 19 for North Florida (17-11, 9-2 Atlantic Sun), including 11 of 16 from the line. Mackey and Beech both had 14 while Jalen Nesbitt had eight points, 11 boards, five assists and four steals.

Josh Williams had 23 for Lipscomb (11-15, 5-6).
