North Florida 72, Lipscomb 62

Jimmy Williams scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and North Florida defeated Lipscomb 72-62 Thursday night, snapping the Bisons' four-game winning streak.
The Ospreys (9-14, 6-6 Atlantic Sun Conference) avenged an 80-76 loss suffered Jan. 10 at Lipscomb by working the ball inside. They outscored the Bisons 48-28 in the paint, led by as many as 20 points and never trailed.
Jerron Granberry had 13 points and Parker Smith added 10 for the Ospreys, who snapped a two-game losing streak.
Lipscomb (14-9, 9-5), which had won six of eight entering the game, got 19 points out of Josh Slater. Brandon Brown added 11 points and Brandon Barnes had 10.
But the Bisons shot only 36.9 percent from the field (24 of 65), including 30.8 percent in the first half (8 of 26) when they trailed 35-19 after 20 minutes. Meanwhile, North Florida made 49.1 percent of its shots (26 of 53).
