Jerron Granberry scored 20 points and Parker Smith 17 as North Florida broke its school record for wins in a season with a 70-64 victory over Jacksonville on Friday night.

The Ospreys (16-15, 10-8 Atlantic Sun Conference) had won 15 games three times in their 19 previous seasons. Last year they reached the mark for the first time in six Division I seasons.

North Florida never trailed. The Ospreys led 33-17 after Granberry closed the first half with a pair of 3-pointers, and they never led by fewer than six points the rest of the way.

Terry Galvin scored 17 points to lead the Dolphins (8-21, 6-12), who missed a chance to clinch the eighth and final berth in the Atlantic Sun tournament. They still can advance if Stetson loses to South Carolina Upstate on Saturday.
