North Carolina guard Joel Berry sidelined with groin injury

No. 15 North Carolina is short-handed in the backcourt Wednesday night against North Carolina State.
Team spokesman Steve Kirschner says freshman point guard Joel Berry II will be out be sidelined for a few weeks with a groin injury. Kirschner says Berry originally injured his groin around Christmas then aggravated the injury during Tuesday's practice.

The Tar Heels are also without reserve point guards Stilman White and Luke Davis. White is out indefinitely with a stress reaction in his right foot and is wearing a protective boot, while Davis is out with a stress fracture in his right foot.
That leaves the Tar Heels with two ballhandlers -- preseason all-American Marcus Paige and sophomore Nate Britt.
