Kyle O'Quinn scored 25 points as Norfolk State overcame a 17-point second-half deficit and rallied to edge Morgan State 90-89 in double-overtime Saturday.

Norfolk State (13-5, 5-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) remained atop the MEAC despite 33 points by Dewayne Jackson. Twenty came in the first half as Morgan State (3-11, 1-2) led 43-36 at halftime, later by as many as 17 points.

But Norfolk State rallied to tie the game at 74-all with 21 seconds left on the first of three foul shots by O'Quinn. Two more put the Spartans ahead at 76-74, but Aric Brooks' two foul shots forced overtime.

Marcus Tamares hit three free throws to give Norfork State an 84-81 lead, but Brooks' three foul shots forced a second overtime.

Ian Chiles scored to give Morgan State its last lead, 89-88. Tamares' jumper with 1:08 left won, the Bears missing three shots in the last 27 seconds.
