No. 2 Michigan St beats Saginaw Valley St 88-44

Kalin Lucas scored 13 points in 11 minutes and Draymond Green had 12 points to help No. 2 Michigan State beat Saginaw Valley State 88-44 in an exhibition game Tuesday night
Lucas looked like he was in midseason form, playing for the first time since March when he ruptured his left Achilles' tendon during the NCAA tournament. Green showed he has 3-point range by making two shots beyond the arc to match the total he had last season.
Durrell Summers and Keith Appling, in his debut with the Spartans, each scored 12 points.
Michigan State coach Tom Izzo suspended Korie Lucious for the game and plans to sit him out of next week's regular-season opener for pleading guilty to reckless driving.
Greg Foster led Division II Saginaw Valley State with 12 points.
