Play in the Atlantic 10 Conference semifinal between Rhode Island and No. 17 Temple was delayed seven minutes by water dripping on the court at Boardwalk Hall.
Officials stopped play with 13:49 left in the first half when they noticed the drip from the ceiling near midcourt. Two-time defending champion Temple was leading 11-2.
Towels were used to wipe up the court, and may be needed throughout the game.
Heavy rains and strong wind along the Northeast created treacherous conditions and raised alerts for flooding in the area.
