Anatoly Bose scored 27 points and Nicholls State defeated Southern-New Orleans 89-52 on Monday night.
It was the eight consecutive 20-point game and 34th of his career for Bose, who was 9 of 14 shooting.
Fred Hunter added 17 points for the Colonels (3-2) and Dantrell Thomas had 10.
Nicholls State shot 52.4 percent from the field (33 of 63) for their second consecutive game above the 50 percent mark. The open shots came in part from the unselfish play of Kenny Franklin Jr., who had a career-high nine assists.
The Colonels had season highs in steals (13) and forced turnovers (29). Nicholls State scored 36 points off of 29 Southern-New Orleans turnovers.
Andre Davis led the NAIA Knights, who counted the game as an exhibition, with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Christopher Palmer added 11 points and Carlos Arango Rincon chipped in 10 for the Knights.
