Drew Gordon had 23 points and 19 rebounds as New Mexico beat New Mexico State 89-67 on Wednesday night.
Tony Snell scored 24 points, including 5 of 8 from 3-point range, and Kendall Williams added 12 points for the Lobos (11-2).
Wendell McKines led the Aggies (8-5) with 25 points and 14 rebounds. Hamidu Rahman scored 19.
New Mexico, which went 12-for-24 from 3-point distance, used a 19-3 run for a 42-19 lead with 3:01 left in the half. New Mexico State went without a field goal for nearly 6 minutes during that stretch.

The Lobos led 46-25 at the break. New Mexico State got no closer than 18 points in the second half. New Mexico led by 34 with 7:15 to play.
The Aggies shot just 33 percent (23 of 69) and were only 1 of 14 from 3-point range.
