Moss, Evans help Buffalo handle Grand Canyon 80-64

PHOENIX (AP) Justin Moss poured in a career-high 26 points and Shannon Evans added 23 as Buffalo surged past Grand Canyon 80-64 on Tuesday night.
The Bulls (3-1) shot 51.9 percent from the field, with Jarryn Skeete chipping in 14 points. Moss went 9 of 14 from the floor and grabbed nine rebounds. Evans hit four 3-pointers, dished out seven assists and hauled in six boards.
Buffalo surged away with an 18-6 run late in the first half sparked by three layups from Moss to lead by 18. Grand Canyon (2-3) pulled within 10 at the midway mark of the second half, but the Bulls reeled off 11 straight points for their largest lead, 68-47 with 7:18 left.
The Antelopes were limited to 19-of-59 shooting (32.2 percent) and got outscored in the paint 36-20. Royce Woolridge led Grand Canyon with 19 points, Ryan Majerle had 16 and Jerome Garrison added 15.
