Will Cherry scored 20 points, 17 in the second half, to lead Montana to an 80-65 victory against Portland on Saturday night.
Kareem Jamar and Derek Selvig added 15 points each for the Grizzlies (6-5).
Tim Douglas had 18 points and Ryan Nicholas 14 for the Pilots (3-8), who lost their fourth straight.
Montana led 32-25 at halftime and went on a 16-3 run early in the second half to build a 48-30 advantage, its largest of the game.

Portland came within 69-58 on a 3-pointer by Kevin Bailey, but the Pilots got no closer the rest of the way.
The Grizzlies shot only 42 percent from the floor, but made 9 of 18 attempts from 3-point range. Portland, which has struggled all year from behind the arc, was 2 of 10 on Saturday.
