Kyle Weems scored 27 points to lead Missouri State to a 78-67 victory over Bradley Sunday night.

Weems made 12 of his 14 shots, and Will Creekmore had 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Bears (15-3, 7-0), who lead Wichita State by one game in the Missouri Valley Conference. Missouri State's 7-0 mark is its best start since joining the conference for the 1990-91 season.

Nafis Ricks and Jermaine Mallett scored 11 points each for Missouri State, which shot 59 percent from the field and never trailed in the game.

Andrew Warren scored 21 points for Bradley (6-12, 0-7), adding to its worst-ever start in Missouri Valley play. Dodie Dunson had 15 points and Walt Lemon Jr. scored 10 for the Braves.
