Mississippi 69, Georgia 47

Terrico White scored 19 points, David Huertas added 17 and Mississippi beat Georgia 69-47 on Saturday. The Rebels (15-11, 6-6 Southeastern Conference) held the Bulldogs (10-17, 1-11) to 25 percent shooting from the floor, blocked seven shots and dominated the paint with a 38-12 scoring advantage under the basket in their second straight win. It was another lackluster loss for Georgia, which has dropped 13 of its last 14 and is 1-6 under interim coach Pete Herrmann. Terrance Woodbury led the Bulldogs with 19 points, becoming the 39th Georgia player with more than 1,000 career points. Ole Miss struggled with its offense in the first half on the way to a 27-21 lead at the break, but White and Huertas combined on a 13-0 run to start the second half that gave the Rebels a 19-point lead. Malcolm White had three of his five blocks during the run.
