Chris Warren scored 20 of his 26 points in the second half, helping Mississippi overcome a double-digit deficit and escape an upset bid with a 68-60 win over Arkansas State on Friday night.

Warren's 3-pointer from the top of the key with 4:30 left gave Ole Miss a 58-50 advantage - the Rebels' largest lead of the game until his dunk in the final second.

Arkansas State led for more than 21 minutes after taking a 15-14 lead with 12:12 left in the first half.

Trevor Gaskins' rebound off Demarco Cox miss with 11:50 left gave Ole Miss a 41-40 lead. Arkansas State responded with a 6-2 run.

Ole Miss trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half. Arkansas State used a 10-0 run midway through the opening period to extend an 18-17 lead to 28-17. The Red Wolves led 32-24 at the break.
