Minnesota dismisses Carlos Morris

On Wednesday, Minnesota announced that senior guard Carlos Morris had been dismissed from the team.
According to Amelia Rayno of the Star Tribune reported that Morris was removed from the program for "conduct detrimental to the team."
Morris was fourth on the Golden Gophers in scoring at 9.8 points per game. He had started 16 of 24 games this season. Although, his playing time had dipped recently as Dupree McBrayer has been inserted into the starting lineup.

Minnesota has a 6-19 record and is winless in Big Ten play. The Golden Gophers host No. 6 Maryland on Thursday night.
