Mika scores 19, Haws 17 to lead BYU past Idaho State 84-58 (Dec 20, 2016)

PROVO, Utah (AP) Eric Mika led with 19 points, his 12th-straight game in double figures, and all five starters scored at least nine as BYU defeated Idaho State 84-58 on Tuesday night.
TJ Haws added 17 points with six assists and Yoeli Childs pitched in a career-high 13 points with 14 rebounds for the Cougars (8-4). Mika also grabbed 12 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season.
Ethan Telfair led the Bengals (2-10) with 13 points, 10 coming before halftime as Idaho State hung with BYU, trailing 39-31 at the break. Geno Luzcando added 11 points. Idaho State has gone 0-8 on the road.
BYU outrebounded Idaho State 46-28, including 37 off the defensive glass, and had 21 assists on 30 made baskets. The Cougars made 30 of 58 field goals for 51-percent shooting.
Idaho State was 21-for-62 from the floor, or 34 percent.
