Michigan 86, Concordia, Mich. 65

Jordan Morgan scored 23 points and Darius Morris added 19 points and 12 assists as Michigan beat tiny Concordia of Michigan 86-65 Monday night.
Concordia, also located in Ann Arbor, plays in the same NAIA conference with Michigan's daughter campus in Dearborn, and wasn't expected to provide much of a test for the Wolverines.
However, after Michigan jumped out to a 15-4 lead in the first four minutes, they found themselves unable to put away the Cardinals. The Wolverines only led 42-32 at the half, and Concordia continued to stay close early in the second period.
Michigan, though, finally took advantage of their superior size and strength to get to the free-throw line. That allowed them to stretch the margin, and Stu Douglass' 3-pointer made it 73-57 with 7:13 left.
Zack Novak added 12 points and 14 rebounds for Michigan. Rocko Holmes had a career-high 29 points for Concordia.
