Dishawn Bradshaw scored 18 points, Tyler Hines had 17 and Hillary Haley added 16 to lead Maryland-Eastern Shore past Kean 86-68 on Saturday.

The Hawks (1-3) led 40-36 at halftime, but extended their lead thanks to 17-of-33 (51.5 percent) shooting in the second half. Maryland-Eastern Shore held the Cougars (2-1) to 10 of 34 (29.4 percent) from the floor in the second.

Jonathan Jones led all scorers with 31 points and had a game-high 20 rebounds for Kean in the loss. Jones shot 12 for 18 from the field.

Michael Burton was the only other player who scored in double-figures with 13 points for the Cougars.

The Hawks shot 30 for 64 (46.9 percent) from the floor, including 6 of 15 (40 percent) from 3-point range and 20 for 27 (74.1 percent) from the free-throw line.

Maryland-Eastern Shore led by as many as 21 with 19 seconds left in the game.
