Marshall leads South Dakota State past Houston Baptist 92-68

CANCUN, Mexico (AP) Geroge Marshall scored 19, including three 3-pointers, and Deondre Parks added 17 points to help South Dakota State beat Houston Baptist 92-68 Tuesday.
Mike Daum added 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting and Reed Tellinghuisen finished with 11 points and eight rebounds for South Dakota State (5-0).
The Jackrabbits made 17 of 26 (65 percent) field goals, including 6 of 9 from 3-point range, in the first half to take a 50-33 lead into the break. They shot season highs from the field (57 percent) and 3-point range (55 percent).
Jourdan Stickler scored 13 points, Terry Harris added 12 and Reveal Chukwujekwu had 11 for Houston Baptist (1-4).

The Huskies made just 22 of 60 (37 percent) field goals.
