Louisiana-Lafayette 61, Louisiana-Monroe 46

J.J. Thomas scored 13 points and Louisiana-Lafayette routed Louisiana-Monroe 61-46 on Saturday night for its 11th straight win in both teams' regular-season finale.
The Ragin' Cajuns earned a share of the Sun Belt Conference West Division title for the first time since the 2007-08 season and they enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed from the West. The victory also was a school-record 10th conference win in a row.
A 23-7 run over a 14-minute span in the second half gave the Ragin' Cajuns their largest lead at 58-38 with 4:24 to play.
Josh Brown added 12 points and La'Ryan Gary had 11 for the Ragin' Cajuns (14-14, 11-5).
The 46 points was the fewest allowed by the Ragin' Cajuns since a 49-38 win over Denver on Feb. 4, 2006.
Fred Brown scored 13 points for Louisiana-Monroe (7-23, 2-14), which lost 10 of its last 11 games.
