C.J. McCollum scored 34 points and Lehigh shut down Bryant defensively in the first half of an easy 72-55 win Saturday in a nonconference game.

The 6-foot-3 junior guard hit 13 of 21 shots from the floor, including 3 of 7 from beyond the 3-point arc and went 5 for 5 from the free throw line. That helped the Mountain Hawks (11-4) take a 37-18 halftime lead and send Bryant (1-12) to its 11th consecutive defeat.

Gabe Knutson posted a double-double for the Mountain Hawks. The forward scored 18 points and pulled down 13 rebounds - eight on the offensive glass.

For Bryant, Claybrin McMath came off the bench to lead the team in scoring with 14 points. Twelve of those points came on McMath's four 3-point baskets.

Raphael Jordan scored 12 points for Bryant and Alex Francis chipped in with 10.
