C.J. McCollum scored 16 points as Lehigh defeated Yale 62-57 Friday.
Michael Ojo and Mackey McKnight each added 13 points for the Mountain Hawks (8-6), who won for the fourth time in their last five games.
The Bulldogs (5-7), who lost their third in a row, were led by Austin Morgan with 11 points while Jeremiah Kreisberg and Raffi Mantilla each added 10 points. It was also the fifth straight time that Lehigh has beaten Yale.
After leading by four at halftime, the Mountain Hawks needed only 2:22 to establish their biggest lead of the game as McCollum capped a 9-2 run with a jump shot that made it 38-27. Yale chipped away at its deficit, catching Lehigh at 47 on Michael Grace's 3-pointer with 6:59 left.
But the Bulldogs never regained the lead as Ojo's jumper 16 seconds later put the Mountain Hawks ahead for good.
