Marcus Morris, one half of No. 4 Kansas' high-scoring Morris twins, returned to the game about 15 minutes after being helped into the tunnel with an apparent knee injury.
Morris went up for a defensive rebound and bumped shoulders with a Colorado State player and then crashed to the floor under the basket. He lay there several minutes in obvious pain and was helped away with someone under each arm, not putting weight on his right leg.
The 6-9 junior, leading the Jayhawks with 18 points a game, came back into the game at the 2:48 mark and was greeted by chants from the crowd of ''Marcus Morris! Marcus Morris!'' He's hitting more than 63 percent from the floor and averaging 6.5 rebounds for the Jayhawks.
