Pierre Curtis had 16 points, nine assists and three steals to help James Madison to a 90-78 win over Gardner-Webb on Saturday night. Juwann James scored 25 points and Julius Wells chipped in 21 for the Dukes (18-11). James Madison went 10-for-28 from behind the 3-point line, with Kyle Swanston going 5-for-9 en route to 15 points. Wells added four 3-point baskets as the Dukes reached their second highest point total of the season. James Madison scored 96 points in a three-point loss to Hofstra on Wednesday. The Bulldogs (11-16) were led by Aaron Linn with 22 points, followed by Nate Blank's 18. C.J. Hailey added 14 points and Joshua Henley grabbed 11 rebounds for Gardner-Webb. James Madison also won the two team's previous meeting, defeating the Bulldogs 85-67 during the 2001-02 season.
