Brian Williams scored 14 points to lead four starters in double figures as Jacksonville State defeated Southeast Missouri State 69-59 Thursday night in an Ohio Valley Conference game.

Ronnie Boggs scored 13 for the Gamecocks (13-17, 7-8) and Nick Cook and Grant White each scored 10 points. Cook also recorded a double-double, grabbing 12 rebounds.

Jacksonville State was just 2 for 12 from beyond the 3-point arc, but won the game with a huge edge at the foul line. The Gamecocks were 31 for 46 from the stripe to the Redhawks' 17 of 24.

Southeast Missouri State led 17-15 with 8:28 left in the first half on a layup by Tyler Stone, who led the Redhawks with 16 points. But they went scoreless for the rest of the half, missing all nine field goal attempts and both foul shots. Jacksonville State scored the last 12 points of the half.
