Jacksonville rallies to defeat E. Tennessee 91-86

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Jarvis Haywood scored 28 points and Jacksonville used a big second half to rally past East Tennessee State 91-86 Thursday.

Down 41-34 at the half, the Dolphins outscored the Buccaneers 57-45 in the second half, their biggest half of the season.

The Dolphins (10-16, 6-9 Atlantic Sun) scored the first seven points of the second half to catch the Bucs. After ETSU (16-13, 9-7) took a 54-52 lead, Jacksonville went on an 11-0 run. Again ETSU went ahead, 71-70 with 5:13 left, but Keith McDougald and Vince Martin responded with 3's.

Martin finished with 17 points and McDougald had 13 for Jacksonville, which shot 59.6 percent in the second half.

Lester Wilson came off the bench to score a career-high 31 points for the Buccaneers, who were 14 of 31 from 3-point range. They were also 18 for 18 from the foul line. Another reserve, Jalen Riley, added 17 points.
