The University of South Florida says it will take a look at "issues" raised in an Internet report that alleges NCAA violations have occurred in the men's basketball program run by Bulls coach Stan Heath. AOL Fanhouse reported there have been multiple violations, some involving a video and conditioning assistant who the sports site said broke rules by providing improper transportation to a current player and overseeing open-gym workouts. Assistant director of athletics/communications Chris Freet said in a statement Thursday that the school will "carefully review the issues raised in an Internet report" and address them in an "appropriate manner" if action is warranted. Freet said school staff and personnel would have no further comment on the report. Heath is in third season at South Florida. He has also been a head coach at Kent State and Arkansas.
