Indiana football player Jordan Fuchs has been added to the basketball roster for Wednesday night's game at No. 19 Maryland.
Fuchs is a freshman from Queens, New York, who played tight end for the football team this fall.
Coach Tom Crean says the Hoosiers would have added the 6-foot-6, 230-pound forward earlier if he had not been injured in the Hoosiers' football finale against Purdue. He says Fuchs worked out with the team last week and that football coach Kevin Wilson supports the move.
Fuchs had averages of 11.7 points and 6.4 rebounds during his senior season at Christ The King High School.
