Indiana St. sinks 12 3-pointers in win

Indiana State set an NCAA record by making all 12 3-pointers it took in a 78-68 victory over Southern Illinois on Saturday.

The Sycamores set the mark for games with at least 10 3-point attempts. The previous best was Ohio State making 14 of 15 last year against Wisconsin.

Jordan Printy led the way by hitting six 3-pointers. Carl Richard, Dwayne Lathan and Lucas Eitel each went 2 for 2 for the Sycamores (15-11, 6-9 Missouri Valley).

Printy and Lathan scored 18 points apiece and Richard 14. Jake Odum had 10 points and seven assists.

Dantiel Daniels led the Salukis (8-18, 5-10) with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Jeff Early scored 15 points, Kendal Brown-Surles 14 and Mamadou Seck 10.

The Sycamores put the game away with a 10-0 run, holding Southern Illinois scoreless for nearly 5 minutes and turning a 50-48 lead into a 60-48 edge with 6:13 left.
