Jake Kelly and Jake Odum each scored 10 points and Indiana State edged Buffalo 58-54 Saturday.

Myles Walker and Dwayne Lathan had nine points apiece and Carl Richard added 10 rebounds for the Sycamores (3-3).

Zach Filzen scored 13 points to lead the Bulls (3-2) while Byron Mulkey and Dave Barnett each had 11.

In a game that featured 10 ties and nine lead changes, Indiana State went into halftime up 23-21. The Sycamores built a seven-point lead, their largest, with 14 seconds to play and held on for their second straight win.

Indiana State scored 28 points in the paint and limited Buffalo to 36 percent shooting.
