Verdell Jones scored 24 points Saturday night and Christian Watford added 17, leading Indiana to an 80-61 rout of Michigan.

The Hoosiers (10-8, 1-4 Big Ten) snapped a six-game losing streak by winning for the first time in three tries at Assembly Hall.

Darius Morris led the Wolverines (11-7, 1-4) with 22 points. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Zack Novak each scored 10 points for Michigan.

But on a terrible shooting night for the Wolverines, that wasn't nearly enough. Michigan has now lost four in a row.

Indiana looked refreshed, playing one of its best games all season after a six-day break. Michigan shot a season-low 23.8 percent from the field in the first half and finished at 36.4 percent.

The Hoosiers took control with an early 14-4 run, extended the lead to 30-15 at halftime and never let Michigan get closer than 11 in the second half.
