Tyler Russell scored a career-high 22 points and Art Bernardi scored 20, including a perfect 9-of-9 from the floor, as Houston Baptist rolled to an easy 93-72 victory over Ecclesia on Saturday night.
Russell, a freshman, also had four rebounds, two assists and three steals for Houston Baptist (8-16) in the non-conference contest.
Terry Bembry had a double-double for Houston Baptist with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
David Eichler scored 19 points, grabbed six rebounds and had four assists for Ecclesia (5-17).

Jason Holmstrom scored 15 points for Ecclesia and Brandon Brzozkiewicz scored 12 points, all on 3-pointers.
Houston Baptist shot 50.6 percent from the field (41 of 81), but made only 3 of 16 from long range.
