Holy Cross 80, Hartford 66

Jordan Stevens and Devin Brown scored 17 points each and hot-shooting Holy Cross defeated Hartford 80-66 on Wednesday night.
Stevens made 6 of 7 field goal attempts and Brown was 7 of 10 as the Crusaders shot 56.6 percent (30 of 53), including 13 of 22 in the second half.
Holy Cross blew open the game with an 18-0 run in the first half. Malcolm Miller's 3-pointer with 3:25 remaining in the first half gave the Crusaders (2-3) a 35-19 lead. Holy Cross extended the lead to 22 points in the second half and Hartford could get no closer than 10 points the rest of the way.
Justin Burrell and R.J. Evans each added 10 points for Holy Cross.
Andres Torres had 15 points and Yolonzo Moore II had 11 for Hartford (0-5). The Hawks started slowly, shooting 8 of 27 in the first half.
