Holy Cross 54, Bucknell 52

Justin Burrell scored 15 points and Holy Cross held off a late Bucknell rally to win 54-52 on Saturday.
The Crusaders started the game on a 20-4 run and led 28-10 at halftime. The lead remained in double figures until the final 5 minutes, when Bucknell went on a 9-2 run to cut the deficit to 48-44 after a layup by Mike Muscala with 1:31 remaining. The Bison pulled no closer until Cameron Ayers hit a 3-pointer with 3 seconds left for the final margin.
Holy Cross (13-13, 7-5 Patriot League), which won its fourth game in a row, made 6 of 8 free throw attempts in the final 46 seconds to keep the Crusaders ahead.
Muscala had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Bison (20-8, 10-2), who had their three-game winning streak against Holy Cross snapped. Bucknell tied its lowest point total of the season.
