Hawaii 70, Chaminade 61

Roderick Flemings scored 18 points, all in the second half, to rally Hawaii to a 70-61 victory over Chaminade on Wednesday night.
The Rainbow Warriors (4-4) trailed 38-25 to the Division II Silverswords (1-4) at halftime, but Flemings scored nine straight points to cut the lead to 44-37 with 14:15 left.
Hawaii pulled within 59-58 with 4:11 to play after Hiram Thompson made a pair of free throws. Hawaii took its first lead after Adhar Mayen hit two free throws with 3:55 left to make it 60-59.
The Rainbow Warriors 6 of 7 free throws down the stretch to clinch it.
Flemings, who was just 0-for-2 from the field in the first half, finished 7-for-18 with 10 rebounds. Thompson scored 17 points with eight rebounds, and Mayen added 12 points and six rebounds.
Shane Hanson led Chaminade with 18 points, and Steven Bennett added 15.
