Hauns Brereton's 22 points and Joston Thomas' double-double led Hawaii to a 100-73 victory over South Carolina State on Thursday night.
Brereton made 9 of 12 shots, while Thomas scored 16 points with 10 rebounds for the Rainbow Warriors (8-5), who have won three in a row and six of their last seven.
Zane Johnson added 14 points, and he and Brereton each sank four 3-pointers. Shaquille Stokes had 10 points.
Aaron Martin scored 17 and Khalif Toombs 15 for the Bulldogs (4-9), who have lost seven straight.
Omar Sanders added 13 points and 11 rebounds, Brandon Riley scored 13 and Luka Radovic had 12 rebounds.
Hawaii converted 51 percent (35 of 69) and outrebounded the Bulldogs 48-41.
South Carolina State led 42-41 at intermission. But Hawaii broke away from a 48-48 tie with a 29-3 run for a 77-51 edge with 9:36 left.
