Harvard's Amaker pulls out of BC coaching search

Harvard coach Tommy Amaker, who has been mentioned in connection with the opening at Boston College, is negotiating with the Ivy League school on a multiyear extension.

Amaker said Friday his heart is at Harvard.

The former Duke star had been mentioned as a possible successor to Al Skinner at Boston College after Harvard set a record this year with 21 victories, including nine by 20 or more points.
