Donald Qualls scored 20 points and Grambling State routed Prairie View A&M 64-33 on Friday night.

The Tigers (6-18, 4-8 Southwestern Athletic Conference) held the Panthers to 23 points over the game's final 35 minutes.

Prairie View A&M (6-18, 3-8) led 10-8 at the 15:09 mark, then Grambling State went on a 13-1 run to take control, capped by five points from Qualls.

The Tigers led 34-19 at halftime en route to winning their third straight after a six-game skid.

The 33 points was the Panthers' lowest scoring output since losing 94-33 to then-No. 1 Florida on Nov. 21, 2006.

Grambling State shot 43.1 percent from the field (25 of 58) and hit 7 of 13 3-pointers.

Prairie View A&M shot 27.6 percent in the first half (8 of 29), and only 20.8 percent in the second (5 of 24), making 1 of 12 3-pointers.

Michael Griffin led the Panthers with 13 points.
