ATHENS, Ga. (AP) Senior forward Marcus Thornton, who leads Georgia in scoring and rebounds, will miss Tuesday night's game at No. 1 Kentucky as he continues to recover from a concussion.

Georgia's five-game winning streak ended as Thornton was held out of the Bulldogs' 67-50 loss at South Carolina on Saturday. He suffered the injury in a home win over Vanderbilt on Jan. 27.

Georgia says Thornton won't travel with the team to Kentucky following concussion protocol testing on Monday.

Thornton, a 6-foot-8 senior, is averaging 13.5 points and 7.3 rebounds for Georgia (14-6, 5-3 Southeastern Conference).
