Devonta White scored 17 points and Jihad Ali added 16 points and nine rebounds to lead Georgia State to a 71-68 victory against Utah Valley on Saturday night.
Josh Micheaux had 12 points and eight rebounds and Eric Buckner 10 points and seven rebounds for the Panthers (8-3), who tied a school record with their eighth straight win.
Geddes Robinson had 16 points and 17 rebounds for the Wolverines (6-6). Holton Hunsaker scored 14 points and Isiah Williams 12.
Hunsaker's 3-pointer got Utah Valley within 70-68 with 12 seconds remaining, and after an Ali free throw, the Wolverines had a chance for the last shot. But Ali stole the ball from Williams with three seconds left.
Georgia State never trailed after a White jumper 50 seconds into the second half.
