Cam Long scored 18 points and George Mason jumped out to a big halftime advantage to defeat Delaware 77-66 on Wednesday night.

The Patriots (14-7, 9-1 Colonial Athletic Association) won their sixth straight game and 16th in a row at home against a conference opponent.

After George Mason took a 38-17 halftime lead, the Blue Hens used a 6-0 run - capped by a steal and layup by Alphonso Dawson - to pull within 66-54 with 4:08 remaining. Delaware, however, wasn't unable to cut the deficit to single digits as the Patriots sealed the win at the foul line, hitting 8 of 10 free throws down the stretch.
