Former Louisville G Chris Jones expected in court Monday for hearing

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Former Louisville basketball player Chris Jones is scheduled to be in court Monday for a hearing on rape and sodomy charges.

University of Louisville police say the allegations against Jones involve two women at a private apartment off campus the night on Feb. 22. Two other men were arrested and charged in the alleged attack on one of the women.

Jones was charged Feb. 26. He pleaded not guilty. His lawyer says he was falsely accused.

University officials say 23-year-old Jones was kicked off the team because he missed curfew after leading Louisville to a comeback win over Miami on Feb. 22, the same day the attacks are said to have occurred.

The hearing Monday is before District Judge Sheila Collins.
