Florida A&M 75, Bethune-Cookman 67

Jamie Adams scored 24 points and Jamari Bradshaw added 20 to lead Florida A&M to a 75-67 victory over Bethune-Cookman in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference opener for both teams on Saturday.
Markee Teal had 10 points for the Rattlers (2-6), and Muham Abdul-Aleem grabbed eight rebounds.
Adrien Coleman scored 17 points and Alex Smith had 13 to lead Bethune-Cookman (2-6), which lost its third in a row. The Rattlers' victory also snapped the Wildcats' streak of five consecutive wins in December meetings between the teams. Malik Jackson led the Wildcats with eight rebounds.
Florida A&M outshot Bethune-Cookman from the 3-point line 52.9 percent (9 of 17) to 14.3 percent (2 of 14), and the Rattlers outscored the Wildcats by nine points at the free-throw line. The Rattlers were 18 of 27 on foul shots, the Wildcats 9 of 22.
