Fairleigh Dickinson downs FDU-Florham 102-61

TEANECK, N.J. (AP) Mustafaa Jones, Darian Anderson and Matt MacDonald each scored 18 points on Monday and Fairleigh Dickinson ran away from Dvision III FDU-Florham 102-61.

Jones, who sank a 3-pointer with 3.3 seconds to play last Friday to help the Knights (2-0) upset Saint Joseph's 58-57, hit six of 12 3-point tries against FDU-Florham.

Fairleigh Dickinson made 55 percent of 27 3-point shots. MacDonald sank four 3-pointers, Anderson had three treys and nine assists, and Marques Townes came off the bench to score 14.

Kevin Furlong paced the Devils (1-1) with 19 points, Donte Ali scored 11 and Steve Herdman added 11 points and had six assists.

Jones led off with a trey and FDU jumped to a 10-4 lead on a layup by Xavier Harris, then pulled ahead on runs of 11-3 and 8-2 to lead 53-38 at halftime. The Knights opened the second half with a 7-2 run and continued to roll.
